DatumNexus was founded by Thomas Wade, an attorney with deep experience in mergers and acquisitions within the Wireless Industry. Over his career, he personally reviewed tens of thousands asset related documents across multiple industries. Through this experience, he identified recurring data integrity failures that caused operational inefficiency, financial exposure, and lost enterprise value.
Recognizing patterns across portfolios, he developed a framework to codify these insights into a machine-readable structure. That framework became the foundation for Validatum®, the AI engine within the DatumNetwork ecosystem. Managing large legal teams tasked with lease review also demonstrated the necessity of precision and consistency in human judgment, which inspired the formation of DatumCadre® — a specialized network of experts who validate AI outputs and maintain contextual accuracy.
